Zendaya Reveals How Tom Holland’s Spider-Man Role Helped Them Escape A Speeding Ticket
Hollywood’s charming duo, Tom Holland and Zendaya, first crossed paths on the set of “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” What started as a friendship blossomed into romance. Known for his role as Peter Parker, Holland’s fame proved beneficial recently, according to Zendaya during a promotional interview for her latest film, “Challengers.”
The couple’s relationship came into the public eye in 2017, solidifying in 2021 after they were seen sharing a moment in Los Angeles. Currently, they are a powerhouse couple, with Zendaya busy on the promotional trail and Holland anticipated to return in another Spider-Man sequel.
During an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, Zendaya shared a light-hearted anecdote. While rushing to a spin class with her mother, they were pulled over for speeding. The officer recognized Holland as Spider-Man, leading to just a warning. “It was a close call, but thanks to Spider-Man, we just got a heads up and continued on,” Zendaya recounted.
Despite occasional rumors of a split, the couple recently appeared together at the “Dune: Part Two” premiere, reaffirming their strong bond. On the professional front, “Challengers” is set to release on April 26, 2024, starring Zendaya alongside Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist under the direction of Luca Guadagnino.
