Stanley Tucci remembers dinner with Harry Styles

Stanley Tucci have had good time with Harry Styles over dinner, while devouring a Cod fish recipe he seems to love.

In his new memoir, What I Ate in One Year, the Academy Award-nominee shared recipes and personal dining experiences, including a memorable evening when he served cod alla Livornese, a flavorful dish of fish cooked with tomatoes, olives, and capers, to Harry Styles.

Tucci recalled Styles coming to meet him and his wife, Felicity Blunt by bike at his London home, joining the pair for a private dinner.

Reflecting on the evening, Tucci noted that the British singer, fresh from his sold-out tour, was enjoying “a much-deserved break” with close friends.

In the memoir, Tucci recalled preparing a pescatarian-friendly recipe, including leek and zucchini risotto, a carrot salad, and a tomato-based fish dish.

To go along with the meal, the group enjoyed tequila, wine, and a single-malt scotch brought by Styles, which Tucci described as “one of the best” he had ever tasted.

The evening’s conversation, Tucci writes, touched on “books and love”, calling Styles “a voracious reader” and “a thoughtful and kind fellow.”

In a conversation with People, the actor shared how he got introduced to the Cod recipe.

“I ate cod alla Livornese for the first time at a tiny restaurant in Little Italy in New York about 40 years ago, and it was perfect. Ever since then, I’ve been trying to match that,” The Devil Wears Prada alum told the outlet.
