Paul Mescal, who has a furious role in Gladiator II, has registered if his character relates to his career journey.

On November 18, Paul had a chat with the reporters after the film’s premiere where he opened up about his part and also spoke about the third sequel of the action-adventure.

During the conversation with the press, BAFTA Award winner addressed how he bought such anger to his role, while admitting that the rage isn’t linked to his professional journey.

He added: “I mean, rage isn’t useful with acting, I think.”

“I think I felt that support at drama school. I was looking, I went to a drama school where it wasn’t about breaking the actors down,” continued the 28-year-old actor.

The Foe star went on to say: “It was a drama school that was kind of based on love and support of the young people at the center of it, so very different to Macrinus but there’s a similar kind of message in there somewhere I think.”

On the other hand, Mescal also spoke about the future of Gladiator stating that he is ready for another entry, reports People.

“If there’s going to be a Gladiator III, I hope I’m in it.”
