Queen Camilla’s relationship with Prince Harry and Prince William exposed broadcaster Channel 4 labelled her as “wicked stepmother.”
Speaking on the matter with GB News, Royal biographer Angela Levin defended the Queen Consort while shedding light on her complex relationships within the Royal family.
The expert highlighted a stark contrast between the Queen’s bonds with the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex.
She noted that William enjoys a warm relationship with William, while Harry harbours a “nasty feeling” towards Camilla, particularly regarding her relationship with the press.
Pointing one mistake in the documentary, which showed Camilla in negative light, Levin said, “There was no chance to ever say what her relationship was like with Harry, and what they’d done for her.”
She added, “For example, soon after Diana died, Charles was going to make a beautiful party, and Camilla was going to be the star of it because she’s been so marvellous to him, he’s so happy.”
“And then it sort of changed with Harry, but not with William,” she continued. “Camilla gets on also very, very well with Catherine and helped her to understand the way you needed to be in the palace, because it’s very difficult.”
“William was incredibly grateful, so he wasn’t so negative about her. But, Harry, I think he’s just got a very nasty feeling about everyone and about the press.
“I think that she feels that the press have to do their job, but she doesn’t give away anything, she’s quite careful about that. And I think that that’s what Harry was upset about.”
