Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have seemingly taken very different approaches to their divorce.

Lopez has recently been seen with her younger bodyguard, while Affleck has kept a low profile since his team denied rumours of a relationship with a member of the Kennedy family.

Affleck was recently spotted with bushier facial hair than usual, driving around Los Angeles, smoking a cigarette in his car with the windows rolled down.

This was just days before his first Thanksgiving since his high-profile split from Lopez.

An insider told Marca that Affleck’s decision to “lay low” is his own “way of handling the separation.”

It was mentioned that he is someone who is not “comfortable with the spotlight” and has a long-standing issue with paparazzi.

Moreover, the former star of Batman has made it clear that he is focusing on his work and personal growth.

The 52-year-old actor is also working on an agreement with Lopez about dividing their shared assets.

For the unversed, Lopez filed for divorce in August this year, months after the Argo star moved out of their Beverly Hills mansion.

However, despite their split, the couple has been seen together on several occasions with their children.

They were even seen kissing at a hotel brunch in September, shortly after Lopez mentioned “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for her fourth divorce.

Notably, as Affleck stays out of the spotlight, Lopez is getting attention for her new movie Unstoppable.

It is pertinent to mention that, as per the same outlet, the film, produced by Affleck’s company Artists Equity and released on September 16, 2024, is generating award buzz for Lopez’s role as Judy Robles, the mother of wrestler Anthony Robles.
