Demi Moore, the Primetime Emmy-nominated actress, recently gave updates regarding the health of her ex-husband Bruce Willis.

The 69-year-old actor was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD), which has gotten worse over time, causing him “challenges with communication.”

While having a conversation with British journalist Christiane Amanpour on US outlet CNN, Moore revealed, “Given the givens, he’s in a very stable place at the moment.”

She added, “I’ve shared this before, but I really mean this so sincerely; it’s so important for anybody who’s dealing with this to really meet them where they’re at, and from that place, there is such love and joy.”

“I mean, obviously it’s very difficult, and it’s not what I would wish upon anyone, and there is great loss, but there is also great beauty and gifts that can come out of it,” the 62-year-old actress mentioned.

For the unversed, in March 2022, the Willis family shared that he was diagnosed with aphasia, which affects communication.

Last year, his daughter Rumer said he got a “more specific” diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia (FTD).

Because of his health, Willis retired from his acting career, which lasted over 40 years and with more than 100 films.

It is pertinent to mention that Moore and Willis were married for 13 years until their separation in 2000.
