Prince William shares photo with Donald Trump as Harry vows to stay in US

Prince William has seemingly sent a strong message to his estranged brother Prince Harry by sharing a photo with Donald Trump days after the duke expressed his fresh resolve to stay in US with his family.

The future king and the US president-elect held 40 minutes meeting at the British ambassador’s residence after shaking hands earlier at a reopening ceremony marking the five-year restoration of Notre-Dame Cathedral.

They joined other world leaders at the reopening ceremony for Notre Dame cathedral in Paris.

Following their meeting, Kensington Palace shared photos of Prince William, saying “A wonderful event to celebrate the reopening of the @notredamedeparis.

“It is an immense achievement to renovate such a beautiful and culturally important building. Thank you and well done to everyone who has been a part of this project.”

Prince William continued, “Also a pleasure to spend time with @emmanuelmacron and @realdonaldtrump.”

William and Donald Trump meeting came days after Harry vowed to remain in the US with his family, despite concerns his visa status could be challenged following the re-election of Trump.

Prince Harry, while speaking at the New York Times DealBook Summit, said that now he and his family are settled in US, his focus is on “being the best husband and the best dad that I can be”.
