Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes love story is well-known. Now, the pair is set to take their relationship a notch up: marriage.
On their Amy & T.J. podcast, they were asked by a fan about what are their wedding plans.
“It’s not an if, it’s a when. I like that. I actually appreciate that,” the 51-year-old said. “T.J., you told me that I should never propose to you.”
“Propose to me?” the ex-GMA asked puzzingly asked. To which, his co-host said, “Remember, we were talking about women proposing to men? But I’m just saying that if I answer this, I feel like that’d be kind of in part me saying when I would like to get married.”
“We don’t have a date, obviously, and we haven’t even decided what we’re going to do,” she continued. “But because if I said I want to and I’d like to in the fall [and] that would be akin to me proposing to you.”
“When? Sooner rather than later. And I say that based on my exclusive conversations with the bride,” the 47-year-old said when was pressed further to share their wedding plans. “I say that because we’re not trying to figure things out.”
“We are not trying to see if we want to be together. We’re not trying to do a trial run to see if this thing can work. That’s not where we are. So the decision has been made to spend a life together,” he added as they have been living together since Sept 30.
Calling marriage “a byproduct of what’s happening,” T.J teased. “And it’s coming.”
Amy concluded the topic by sharing, “We’ve talked about marriage,” noting, “We haven’t talked about a wedding. And there is a difference between the two.”
