Alec Baldwin gets honest about Rust tragedy

Alec Baldwin looks back on his life-altering incident on the set of Rust in 2021, saying more shocking facts will be coming in the future, which were suppressed in the past.

“We have more **** that’s gonna come out in ensuing legal filings and so forth,” the Mission Impossible star shares on Fail Better with David Duchovny when asked about the impact of the tragedy on his life. “These last three years, people have just dined out.”

Reacting to the response he received after the incident, Alec says, “In this country, when people hate you on that level, they want three things: They want you to die. They want you to go to prison.”

“And the third thing is they want you canceled, which is like being in prison or being dead. Because you roam the earth, and you’re invisible,” he notes.

His remarks come after the judge dismissed the case against him of manslaughter after he was holding a prop gun, which killed cinematographer Halyn Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza by going off accidentally.
