Chris Martin recently got emotional about his children and admitted that that he’s sad about being an empty nester.
The Coldplay front-man, shares two children; 20-year-old Apple, 18-year-old son Moses with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, told Rolling Stone, “It’s sad. That’s the only word.”
For the unversed, his daughter is currently studying at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, while Moses, his son, is studying at Brown in Rhode Island.
The 47-year-old singer, while describing the feeling, said, “But of course, it’d be weirder if they were still like, ‘I can’t leave.’ Then you’d be more worried.”
Moreover, the Hymn for the Weekend hitmaker also revealed how he likes to tease Moses when the father-son duo are in public together.
“My favourite new thing to embarrass my son is, if we’re walking down the street and someone comes up to us and they say, ‘I’m sorry to disturb you while you’re with your son,’ I say, ‘That’s not my son. That’s my partner.'”
He added, “Yeah. I like them a lot.”
Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow, who decided to go their separate ways, while remaining friends in 2014, first met backstage at a Coldplay concert in October 2002.
