In the Summer House season 9 trailer, Danielle Olivera expressed concern when Lindsay Hubbard revealed that she and her boyfriend were not living together despite expecting their first child.

Olivera said during the first teaser, “I just don’t want it to feel like you’re single momming this up.”

During an exclusive interview with People, Hubbard, who welcomed her daughter Gemma on December 8, clarified the situation.

In regards to this, she explained that she and Olivera later had a more in-depth discussion about her decision.

Moreover, Hubbard stated, “We went to lunch like a month ago, and once we talked more in depth about the whole living situation, she was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I completely understand your perspective now.’”

Meanwhile, Hubbard noted that she didn’t want to rush into cohabiting with her boyfriend, especially after getting pregnant just a few months into their relationship as she explained, “If there’s anything I’ve learned from my past… it’s that nothing is guaranteed. I didn’t want to add more pressure on our relationship than a pregnancy and a baby already put on it.”

As per the publication, although they are not officially living together, Hubbard shared that her boyfriend has been fully present since Gemma’s arrival.

In this regard, she stated, “He has spent the night and has been by my side 24/7 for the entire past month… He’s essentially going between my apartment and his, but rarely ever leaves me and Gemma.”
