On the set of Nightbitch, Amy Adams’ was surrounded by newly trained dogs, who charged at her during the filming of a certain scene.

In the movie, Amy’s character Mother changes into a bitch at night. A previously untrained dog was picked from the shelter to play the actress’ canine version.

The Nocturnal Animals star had to interact with Juno and other dogs during the shooting.

“The dogs were really well-behaved,” Adams told Entertainment Weekly. “We had one incident, which has been documented, where one of the dogs sort of started a revolt. They kind of charged at me because we were doing a scene where I was having to walk in a very slow dream state while staring at them with a certain amount of dreamlike confusion and questioning.”

“They all were fine. That dog did have to be taken off set that night because I don’t think he ever trusted me again. He was like, no, no,” the Enchanted star added.

Yet. per Amy Adams, the dog was a good boy: “Oh, no, I was the troublemaker that night.”
