Blake Lively is set to return to the screens despite her legal battle!
After the 37-year-old actress who is the wife to A-list celebrity, Ryan Reynolds, would be appearing in the sequel to 2018’s acclaimed thriller A Simple Life, despite rumors that it had been shelved “indefinitely.”
As rumors swirled on X, formerly Twitter, as per Daily Mail, the director of A Simple Life as well as its sequel, Paul Feig, put a stop to all speculations labelling them as “total BS,” assuring fans that the film “is finished and coming out soon.”
The 2018 movie starred Anna Kendrick as a vlogger who begins an investigation when her glamorous friend, portrayed by Blake Lively, vanishes.
For those unversed over the ongoing lawsuit, Lively has sued her It Ends With Us co-star, Justin Baldoni for s**ual harassment and for creating a toxic work environment during the filming of the 2024 movie.
In response, the Five Feet Apart actor filed a defamation lawsuit against the New York Times and reports also state that he is planning on countersuing the Gossip Girl alum too.
