Britney Spears reveals why she moved to Mexico?

This week, Britney Spears revealed to her followers that she relocated to Mexico to avoid the “cruel” scrutiny of paparazzi.

“It really kind of hurts my feelings that the paparazzi make my face look like I’m wearing like a white Jason mask, and it doesn’t even look like me,” Spears said.

“They’ve always been incredibly cruel to me, the paparazzi and pictures and the way they’ve illustrated me to be in some of it. I know I’m not perfect at all, by any means, but some of it is extremely mean and cruel, and that’s why I’ve moved to Mexico.”

The rights to the singer’s 2023 best-selling memoir, The Woman in Me, were acquired by Universal in August. Marc Platt will serve as producer and Jon M. Chu, director of Wicked, will serve as project manager.

Spears celebrated the news on social media, writing that she was “excited to share with my fans that I’ve been working on a secret project with #MarcPlatt,” and that Platt has “always made my favorite movies … stay tuned.”
