Diddy, Jay-Z’s accuser breaks silence on rape lawsuit

Sean “Diddy” Combs and Jay-Z’s accuser, who alleged that both musicians raped her back in 2000 when she was 13, has finally broken her silence on the on-going matter.

According to NBC News, an Alabama woman, named in the legal action by the pseudonym Jane Doe, acknowledged certain lack of consistency in her story.

She admitted that she had “made some mistakes” in her recollections of that night, but maintained those inconsistencies didn’t impact the truth behind the allegations.

Her lawyer, on other hand, said that he will continue to vet her claims.

Her statement comes after Jay-Z’s lawyer claimed that the accuser’s rape claim was “provably, demonstrably false”.

The victim initially in her filing described being driven from Rochester, New York, to New York City for the MTV Video Music Awards in 2000 and then Combs’ limo driver offering her a ride to an after-party.

She also claimed that she spoke with musicians Benji Madden and his brother at the party, and her father picked her up after the alleged assault.

Things took an unexpected turn when a Benji’s representative confirmed to the publication that they were on tour in the Midwest during the VMAs.

Moreover, the victim’s father said he doesn’t remember the drive home of more than five hours.
