Dolly Parton is set to star as guest on The Wiggles’ new country album titled, Wiggle Up, Giddy Up!

The new album, which is due for release in March, will see Parton appear alongside other country artists such as Orville Peck, Lainey Wilson, Jackson Dean, MacKenzie Porter and Lucky Oceans.

The forthcoming album’s title track features Austin (Boots Stop Workin’) singer Dasha.

Apart from Dasha, Australian and New Zealand acts such as Morgan Evans, The Wolfe Brothers, and the late Slim Dusty will also be featured.

The news comes after the 78-year-old legendary singer and actress, told Entertainment Tonight that if her husband, Carl Dean “were in ill health or needed her,” she would “definitely pull way back.”

Parton, who is preparing to tour for her new album Dolly Parton & Family: Smoky Mountain DNA – Family, Faith & Fables, is also said to be wishing that she’d spend more time with her 82-year-old husband.

One source said, per Radar Online, “She can’t quit performing and feels she owes it to her fans.”

“The fear is if Dolly doesn’t slow down and start to delegate more responsibilities she’ll burn out and no-one wants that,” noted the insider.
