How Meghan Markle alienates her neighbours in Montecito, resident reveals

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s lack of influence in their Californian neighbourhood has been revealed by a fellow resident.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who lately stay indoors in their Montecito mansion, do not play an ‘asset’ to the area.

The couple’s neighbour, Richard Mineards, tells a German documentary: “I personally don’t think that Meghan is an asset to our community.

“She doesn’t really go out or get involved with the community. Harry has to a certain extent, because he’s quite jolly.

“But Meghan doesn’t seem to get seen anywhere. And you don’t see him either.”

This comes after Harry spoke to New York Times columnist Andrew Sorkin, about his life in the US.

He said: “I very much enjoy living here and bringing up my kids here.”

Harry also revealed that he does not like engaging too much with social media.

“I try to think at these things through the lens as a dad,” he said.

The Duke added: “It’s not a coincidence that the world has become more volatile and more divided since social media has been around for 20 years,” Harry added.
