Princess of Wales Kate Middleton has released a meaningful statement after reports the future queen ‘rejected’ King Charles suggestion to invite Prince Andrew to her Christmas carol concert.
The Princess of Wales “did not invite” Prince Andrew or his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, to the Christmas carol service.
The insider claimed: “Suggestions that Andrew be invited to Kate’s annual carol service, possibly seated behind a pillar, were rejected.”
Royal expert Ephraim Hardcastle has claimed suggestion to invite Andrew was put forward by King Charles as the monarch is insisting his disgraced brother be given “due status” after he was stripped of his royal duties.
Following these reports, Kate Middleton and Prince William’s office has shared a clip from the carol service with their statement which reads, “It was great to welcome so many inspiring people from across the country to join us at Westminster Abbey for the Together at Christmas Carol Service.”
Uploading another clip from the community carol services, the palace said, “Over the past fortnight, there have been 15 community carol services across the UK that have seen hundreds of people coming together to celebrate love, empathy and kindness this festive period.”
