Kate Middleton and Prince William are reportedly facing major decisions about their son Prince George’s future.

Prince and Princess of Wales, who also share Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis together, have to choose their eldest son George’s next school.

Sources have revealed that they are divided over George’s future plans as William favours Eton, his alma mater, while Kate reportedly prefers a co-educational environment such as Marlborough College, where she studied.

In an interview with Mirror, royal expert Katie Nicholl shares that the couple prioritizes their children’s happiness.

Recalling the time during Kate’s cancer treatment, Katie says, “When Kate was in hospital, George was on the football pitch playing with his friends. That sense of normality, of keeping the family going at one of the hardest times they’ve ever gone through, was important.”

“The school gives them a great infrastructure and a great support network, and allows the children to live a regular childhood – a low-key, happy, albeit privileged childhood,” she added.

It is worth mentioning that traditionally, royal children have attending boarding school. William studied at Eton, while King Charles III attended Gordonstoun.

However, Kate and William’s modern approach to parenting suggests that they may choose a path that aligns with their family’s dynamics, even if it means breaking royal tradition.
