Katy Perry is set to perform at the opening night of Invictus Games, created by Prince Harry.
The news was confirmed by Invictus Games’ social media account on X (formally known as Twitter).
In a tweet, the official page wrote, “Buckle up because we’re beyond excited to announce that the one and only, Multi-Platinum Global Pop Superstar, @katyperry will be joining GRAMMY-Award Nominated, Multi-Platinum Artist @NoahKahan, Multi-Talented Musician and Songwriter @NellyFurtado for a truly epic Opening Ceremony Known for her iconic hits like ‘Roar’, ‘Firework’, and ‘Dark Horse’ – experience these goosebump worthy moments IRL!”
According to the post, the 40-year-old singer will headline the opening of the annual event in Vancouver, Canada, in February 2025.
The I Kissed a Girl crooner is among one of the A-list celebrities who will perform at the 2025 Invictus Games, an annual event for disabled military veterans which will begin from February 8 to 16 across multiple locations in Whistler and Vancouver.
Apart from this, Perry has been booked to perform at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball 2024.
The two-day event will be held at The O2 in London on Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8.
