King Charles may enlist Sarah Ferguson to mediate Prince Andrew’s controversies

King Charles may turn to Sarah Ferguson, Prince Andrew’s ex-wife, to help manage his brother’s public controversies, sources have suggested.

The Duke of York recently came under scrutiny after court documents revealed his connection to Yang Tengbo, an alleged Chinese spy.

Andrew has claimed that he ended all ties with Tengbo, who has denied the allegations, following advice from government officials, and insists no sensitive information was ever exchanged.

This development follows a year of tension between Andrew and the King, particularly over Andrew’s continued residence at Royal Lodge.

According to The Times reports, Charles is considering enlisting Ferguson’s support to help keep Andrew out of the spotlight. Known for her warm relationship with both Andrew and the King, Ferguson could serve as a mediator, with insiders noting her potential role as a “bridge” between the brothers.

The Duchess of York has openly spoken about her admiration for Charles, fondly referring to him as “kind” and appreciating his continued use of her nickname, “Fergie.”

Some believe she might be influential in convincing Andrew to relocate to a more modest residence, such as Frogmore Cottage, a move that the King reportedly feels is more fitting for his current status.

By involving Ferguson, the monarch could aim to resolve tensions and encourage Andrew to avoid further controversy, ensuring the family focuses on unity moving forward.
