Megan Thee Stallion just received her restraining order against Tory Lanez.
In fears that the aforementioned artist would “shoot” her again, the Mamushi rapper has stated that Lanez has been harassing her from prison, where he is currently facing a 10-year-long sentence for shooting her in the feet, back in July 2020.
In a testimony via a video conference during a hearing that was held in Los Angeles, Megan told Judge Richard Bloom that she had not “been at peace” ever since she was shot and is now “just tired of being harassed.”
“It just seems like I have to relive it every day. The person who shot me won’t let me forget it,” she further mentioned
According to Billboard, the Otaku Hot Girl hitmaker continued, “I’m scared that when he gets out of jail he’s going to still be upset with me … I feel like maybe he’ll shoot me again and maybe this time I won’t make it.”
The judge decided to rule in favour of Megan Thee Stallion and has now banned Tory Lanez from contacting her or going anywhere near her until January 9, 2030, that is, three years before he is due to complete his sentence in prison.
