Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have adopted a new strategy but it is not working out for the Duchess of Sussex, a new report has revealed.
Recently, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been making solo appearances with Harry travelling to the UK, New York and South Africa alone and Meghan carrying out her engagements in Los Angeles.
While it initially seemed to be working for the couple, a new report has revealed that their professional split is not going well for Meghan.
Speaking on the matter, Royal commentator Paula Froelich said that Meghan is having trouble finding her place with these solo projects and might end up being overshadowed by Harry.
In a conversation with The Daily Beast, the expert said, “The current reset is: Harry focuses on charity and Meghan focuses on commercial projects.”
“They are trying to show they are individual powerhouses,” she added. “It’s working for Harry but not so much for Meghan.
“It’s going to be interesting to see how she handles being constantly upstaged by her husband.”
PR Norah Lawlor also warned the couple that their new strategy has risks for their professional working relationship.
“The risk is that making L.A. engagements a ‘Meghan’ brand attribute and royal-type engagements a ‘Harry’ brand attribute will pull them further apart not just in terms of scheduling, but also in terms of mindset and goals,” she said.
