Hollywood star Mel Gibson is among several actors who have lost their houses in the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.
The actor revealed that he lost his Malibu home in the wildfires while he was in Austin to record a podcast interview with Joe Rogan.
In his interview with Rogan, the actor also discussed some conspiracy theories about COVID vaccines and Anthony Fauci, who served as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
The actor probably did not know his host Joe Rogan had “predicted” the Los Angeles wildfires that have devouring thousands of houses and more than the lives of 10 people.
Here’s what Joe Rogan said about the L.A wildfires On July 10, 2024, months before the tragedy unfolded:
“I talked to a fireman once. This is one of the reasons. It freaked me out and he was telling me. He goes dude one day. He goes it’s just gonna be the right wind and fire is gonna start at the right place and It’s gonna burn through L.A all the way to the ocean and there’s not a fucking thing we can do about it. I go really? He goes yeah. We just get lucky with the wind. He goes if the wind hits the wrong way it’s just gonna burn straight through L.A.
Because these fires are so big, we are talking about thousands of acres burning simultaneously with like 40 mile an hour winds.
And the winds just blow embers through the air and those embers are landing on roofs and those houses are going up and landing on bushes and those bushes are going up and everything’s dry and once its happens it happens in a way where it’s so spread out that there’s nothing they can do.”
