My Chemical Romance’s band members have finally spoken out about the tragic passing of their former drummer, Bob Bryar. 

As reported by Rolling Stone, a representative for the legendary rock band has issued the first statement from the bandmates, conveying the sorrow and shock over the unexpected passing of the 44-year-old musician.  

The message reads, “The band requests patience and understanding as they come to terms with the devastating news of Bob’s passing.”  

Notably, Bob was found deceased at his Tennessee, USA, residence on November 26, 2024.  

As reported by TMZ, police officials are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the 44-year-old drummer’s death and the cause remains unclear.

Reportedly, the authorities have revealed that they do not suspect foul play, as investigators found that the drummer’s weapons and music equipment at the residence remained untouched.  

However, the cause of Bob’s death has yet to be publicly disclosed, and details regarding who initially discovered him dead at his home.  

The renowned drummer parted ways from My Chemical Romance in 2010, shortly after the band released their fourth studio album Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.

For the unversed, now the renowned iconic band consists of four core members including lead vocalist Gerard Way, guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero, and bassist Mikey Way.
