Piers Morgan has expressed his views over Sarah Ferguson’s remarks about her former husband Prince Andrew after the Prince of York landed in new controversy related to UK’s national security.
Sarah, Duchess of York, has said she “won’t let Andrew down” and vowed to support him going forward.
Commenting on PA Media tweet, Piers Morgan said, “I love people who are steadfastly loyal to those in real difficulty and the subject of public opprobrium.”
He further said, “Very easy to be someone’s supportive mate when they’re riding high, much more impressive when they’re on the rack.”
Speaking to the Sunday Times, Sarah Ferguson said: “I won’t let him down. He supports me as much as I support him.”
The Duchess of York further said, “He’s supported me through thick and thin, not just marriage or divorce.”
“I was totally and utterly in love with Andrew. I would do it all over again, 100 per cent. He’s the best, a great man with a great heart, and kind.
“Our wedding was the best day of my life. But I gave up my anonymity that day. I was able to because love conquers all. It’s still with us today. I won’t let him down.”
