Experts fear Prince Andrew might start following in Prince Harry’s footsteps should he encounter money troubles as well.
This fear has come to light, due to circulating reports that Prince Andrew is considering writing a book of his own, for ‘cash’.
As of right now Prince Andrew has fighting it out for the 30-bedroom Royal Lodge that was given to him upon his marriage with Sarah Ferguson.
However, since losing Crown funding questions have begun to arise, about how he will maintain the estate.
The issues around him being kicked off stem from the fact that Prince Andrew has a 75-year lease on the state, that started in 2003.
He pays £260,000 in rent, but is also expected to “repair, renew, uphold, clean and keep in repair and where necessary rebuild” the property as needed.
Despite the fact that Prince Andrew has a even higher chance at sharing some dangerous secrets, royal expert Andrew Lownie refutes it all and told MailOnline, “There have long been rumours that Andrew might write a book, and various collaborators have been suggested, but I think it is very unlikely.”
“Andrew is loyal to the institution and knows it would impact his daughters and their position within the Royal Family.”
“He also has no wish to be in the limelight. That is not to say that a broader book on the Royal Family ‘supportive’ of Andrew might not appear in the next few months.”
“Yes he knows a lot but I doubt he would ever talk. He’s told them all to Fergie and she’s the real threat which is why the family are keen to keep her on side.”
