Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have landed in trouble ever since their new documentary on polo debuted on streaming giant Netflix.
According to royal expert Charlotte Griffiths, the five-part documentary was the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s “last chance of keeping Archewell as a really successful TV production brand.”
She bashed the Sussexes’ polo documentary as “a load of old tosh,” pointing out its disconnect from ordinary viewers while speaking of Archewell mission of promoting “truthful and relatable content.”
She also noted that no members of the Royal family appeared in the show with minimal appearances from Harry himself.
Speaking with GB News, the expert compared the show to a mix between “Selling Sunset and Made in Wrexham.”
She said, “With Made in Wrexham, you’re kind of really gunning for the boys, and they to succeed in this football club, to do well. But with these polo players, it doesn’t matter.”
“There’s no members of the Royal Family, not even really Prince Harry,” the expert highlighted, before sharing how one of the players had lack of connection with the show.
“One of the guys in the show doesn’t even know the names of his horses. If you have four horses you’d learn the names – it’s not that hard is it?”
“When Netflix gave them this deal, they were hoping for lots of Meghan and Harry content because actually, Meghan and Harry content does very well,” Griffiths said.
“It’s probably their last chance of keeping Archewell as a really successful TV production brand, so there’s a lot riding on the new year.”
