The CEO of Prince Harry’s African children charity has stepped down in what a UK newspaper called fresh blow to the Duke of Sussex.
The charity Sentebale was co-founded by Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in 2006.
According to a report, London-based Richard Miller has quit as chief executive after five years in the role as major changes continue to take place at the organization.
It comes as the reports in the UK and US media claim that a “professional split” has taken place between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
A series of solo appearances from the couple have been cited as proof of their so-called professional split.
While Prince Harry recently dismissed rumors of a rift with his wife, he said nothing of any plan to work separately from his wife.
The Mirror reported that Sentebale said Miller will be replaced by an interim executive director, Carmel Gaillard, who is based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Harry and Seeiso said in a joint statement: “This shift reflects our continued commitment to being guided by voices from within the region we serve.”
