Prince William made his first public appearance on Tuesday after palace announced his and Kate Middleton’s joint appearance next week.
The palace confirmed on Monday, the future king and queen will greet the Amir of Qatar and Sheikha Jawaher on Tuesday morning during their state visit to the UK next week.
They will travel with their Highnesses to Horse Guards Parade, where the Amir and Sheikha Jawaher will receive a ceremonial welcome.
Following this major announcement, Prince William visited the Welsh Guards on Salisbury Plain today.
Royal expert Emily Ferguson shared video of William on X, formerly Twitter handle, and tweeted, “Prince William is visiting the Welsh Guards on Salisbury Plain this morning.
“He’s in his combat uniform and is set to take part in a live firing exercise.”
The royal expert added, “The prince is colonel of the regiment, which has led a number of ceremonial events such as the King’s Coronation.”
Another royal expert Kate Mansey tweeted, “The Prince of Wales taking aim as he visits 1st Battalion Welsh Guards on Salisbury Plain where he’ll be finding out how they’re transitioning from ceremonial duties for the King’s Coronation, late Queen’s funeral and Trooping the Colour back to the Field Army.”
