Prince William reportedly keeps tabs on his brother Prince Harry even though he is still not interested in reconciling with the Duke.
According to an expert, the Prince of Wales has cut ties with Harry and Meghan Markle for good but he and Kate Middleton likely take an interest in things he is up to.
Royal expert Duncan Larcombe has claimed that he believes William and Kate have asked their staff to watch the new German documentary on Harry’s life, titled Harry: The Lost Prince.
Speaking with The Mirror, the expert noted that the Prince and Princess of Wales want to be prepared for any potential developments that may come from Harry or Meghan.
“I think there’s a strong chance they would probably have someone watch it on their behalf, just so they can flag up anything that needs addressing,” he said of William and Kate.
“William is a bit better than Harry at ignoring what’s said about him, but he still does take interest,” the expert added.
He went on to share his opinion on the documentary further affecting Harry’s relationship with the Royal family, saying, “It’s hard to say if the documentary will impact Harry’s relationship with the royals because there are signs that things might be thawing.”
“I think any documentary that continues the criticism of Harry and Meghan’s modus operandi is going to be damaging. It’s in Germany so it’s probably not going to make a big storm over in the US.
“But it’s still a major blow for a couple who have seen their popularity plummet like a stone falling in a well since they left the UK.”
