Queen Camilla vows to put an end to violence against women

Queen Camilla on Thursday joined survivors, supporters and staff of a charity providing support to the survivors of abuse.

A picture of the Queen was posted with the workers of the charity on the official Instagram account of the Royal Family.

A message accompanying the photo  read, “Together, we will put an end to it.

Thank you to all at @Womens Aid for your vital work over the last 50 years, providing lifesaving support to survivors of abuse and their families.

Coinciding with the United Nations #16Days, a global campaign to end violence against women and girls, The Queen joined survivors, supporters and staff of the charity, as they mark their 50th anniversary year.

Founded in 1974, Women’s Aid brings together a network of 180 specialist organisations, who run almost 300 support services.”

Commenting on the post, a user said,  “Thank you to Queen Camilla for her dedication to supporting women s aid and survivors.
