Rebel Wilson urged her fans to put in an effort to help the Los Angeles Police Department amid the raging fires.
The 44-year-old actress took to Instagram Story and told her 11.1 million followers to raise money and donate it to the police who lost their homes.
Wilson, while sharing a disturbing picture of blazing part of Los Angeles, began, “Hey everyone, I know there’s so many worthy causes right now in LA but wanted to highlight this one.”
The Hustle actress continued, “20 LAPD personnel have lost their homes so far and more than 50 are displaced.”
The actress, who is married to fashion designer Ramona Agruma, added, “We are raising money to provide assistance to them.”
According to The Deb actress’ story, around 600 officers are deployed to the front lines right now.
“They are also doing great work in trying to stop looters and find those responsible for some of these fires,” said the Sydney native.
In the end of the post, Rebel Wilson also shared a link where followers can donate money to the Los Angeles Police Foundation.
