Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan might rekindle their romance sometime in future.

According to Life & Style, a source claimed that although the Espresso hitmaker and the Saltburn star called it quits for the time being, they did not completely close their hearts on their romance.

“Sabrina and Barry aren’t opposed to revisiting their relationship later down the road,” the insider revealed, confirming, “but as of now, It’s over.”

The source further stated that long distance due to their hectic work schedule are the factors to blame in the culmination of their split.

“It was frustrating being apart so much, and the long-distance factor really did them in,” they said, dispelling the cheating rumours that swirled after their split.

It is pertinent to note that the Irish heartthrob is currently occupied with the shooting of his upcoming film Crime 101 in LA while the Please Please Please chart topper has been on the road since she kicked off her Short n’ Sweet tour.

For the unversed, Keoghan, 32, and Carpenter, 25, sparked romance rumours on December 23 when they were seen together in Brentwood.

The dating rumours were further heated when the former couple were spotted on several outings, including at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscars party.

The two eventually ended the rumours by making their first red carpet-appearance together at the Met Gala in May.

The two appeared to be supportive of each other until rumours began to swirl in August when the gossip account DeuxMoi shared an anonymous tip hinting that they had split.

No official remarks were made then that ultimately suggested they were together until the break up was reported in early December.
