Snoop Dogg is revealing the massive surprise he has for his daughter Cori Broadus.
The award-winning rapper, 53, made an appearance with Cori, 25, on Tuesday’s episode of the Jennifer Hudson Show, where he asked to share the “most over-the-top gift” he’s ever given his daughter.
Before spilling the beans on the gift, the Drop It Like Its Hot hitmaker revealed his singer-daughter is yet to open the gift as the wedding was postponed due to a medical emergency.
“You know what? It’s the truth, but the only thing about this gift is she never got to open it or she hasn’t opened it yet,” the Voice coach cryptically replied before revealing the lavish present.
“It was a million dollars for her wedding,” he continued, as the audience began clapping and cheering and Cori said while grinning, “That’s right, that’s right!”
Hudson, 43, jokingly responded, “What do you ask for after that?” Oh, my goodness!”
The That Tree rapper also noted that his wedding planning approach would’ve been very different from his daughter as Cori has previously hinted at a very lavish wedding.
“I told her if it was me, my wedding would have been $100 [thousand] and $900 [thousand] would have gone in my pocket,” he said.
“Daddy is still teaching lessons, I’ll tell you that,” Hudson declared with a laugh.
Snoop’s comment that Cori—whom he shares with his wife Shante Broadus—has yet to open her gift was a reference to the delay in her wedding as she experienced a “severe” stroke in January.
Cori and her fiance Wayne Duece—who got engaged in November 2022—will be sharing the behind-the-scenes of their wedding journey in the new E! docuseries Snoop’s Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne’s Story, which premieres on December 5.
