Tom Holland’s father is the biggest supporter of his son’s engagement to Zendaya.
According to a Patreon post that Dominic Holland shared on Friday, he detailed his oldest child’s love story and how he has complete faith in their romance that would last long, despite challenges that stardom may bring along.
“I do fret that their combined stardom will amplify their spotlight and the commensurate demands on them and yet they continually confound me by handling everything with aplomb,” the 57-year-old said of Tom Holland and Zendaya whose engagement was confirmed recently.
Believing how “show business is a messy place for relationships and particularly so for famous couples as they crash and burn in public and are too numerous to mention,” Dominic stated as he then proceeded to highlight hi own marriage to Nikki Holland to be taken as “an example”
“With Nikki helming this family and my ‘wisdom’ on tap and a study in getting things mostly wrong and yet somehow right at the same time, I am completely confident they will make a successful union,” he further wrote.
Tom and Zendaya, who have starred together in the Spider-Man movies as Peter Parker and Michelle “MJ” Jones, were confirmed to be romantically linked in 2021.
The Euphoria star sparked engagement rumors at the 2025 Golden Globes after she rocked and showed off a diamond ring on her left hand. A family source later confirmed to PEOPLE magazine that the pair were in fact engaged to each other.
