Tyler Cameron has reflected on the consequences of posting private texts with his girlfriend Tate Madden online.
Speaking with Page Six on Friday, Cameron admitted that he “paid the price” after sharing screenshots of a playful exchange with his girlfriend Madden.
For the unversed, Cameron posted Madden’s texts about being upset after he got ice cream without her. He jokingly wrote, “don’t go on a sweet treat run without your girlfriend … lesson learned.”
In the text messages he asked Madden, “Now you’re mad again?” to which she replied, “I just don’t understand why anything fun you do you don’t want to do with me. We’ll go to the riverside. Have a fun night.” The post led to backlash from his followers.
Now, the famous TV personality also told the outlet, “I got crushed for that. So I paid the price for it, learned my lesson. Some jokes should be kept inside.”
Cameron also added that he made it up in “lots of ways” including “Lots of ice cream trips.”
