Zayn Malik pauses FIRST solo London concert amid crowd pushing

Zayn Malik paused his performance at London’s Eventim Apollo on Tuesday to plead with fans to avoid shoving and ensure everyone’s safety.

The 31-year-old singer, currently on his first solo tour, addressed the crowd after the fans at the front were pushed by those at the back.

In regards to this, Malik stated, “If you’re at the back, try not to push because people at the front are getting a little bit squished. We’re all here to have a good time, I’m not going anywhere. Just try not to hurt anybody.”

According to Daily Mail, the UK leg of Malik’s Stairway to the Sky tour includes stops in Leeds, Manchester, Wolverhampton, and Newcastle before concluding with rescheduled dates in Edinburgh.

Moreover, the tour took a somber tone following the tragic death of Malik’s former One Direction bandmate, Liam Payne, who passed away in October after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires.

In tribute, Malik dedicated part of his recent performance to Payne by displaying a heartfelt backdrop that read, “Liam Payne 1993–2024. Love you, bro,” with a red heart.

Additionally, Malik, who postponed the U.S. leg of his tour and adjusted UK dates to grieve, has been vocal about his loss.

During his return to the stage, he wore a necklace in honor of Payne, reflecting their shared history as part of the globally successful One Direction.
